A ROADMAP TO MAKE TIME YOURS FOR …

If you want to learn to own your time so you can truly enjoy it, you need a roadmap. Your journey to create a lifestyle you love starts here and now!

STEP #1

MAKE TIME for the DATE OF YOUR LIFE

The first step to having time for yourself is to make it.

Choose a suitable moment. Make yourself comfortable. Prepare the place: put on a candle, use some home perfume. Use rituals that make you feel relaxed, open, balanced.

Take care that nobody disturbs you at that moment. Make it a sacred place for the time being. You are about to have a nice and honest dialogue with your Self. Be open. Be your wholehearted friend. The one who is fully present and is there for you no matter what. You want to see clearly what is it exactly that you want to do and what is it that you must do to lead the life you love. 

STEP #2

GET CLEAR ON WHAT REALLY MATTERS

Second, make a list of things that really matter. Avoid making a to do list. It’ll only make you more anxious. We don’t want that. You need to get rid of anxiety and get grounded by creating a vision that is feasible and realistic.  Group them into chunks, like : taking care of family, household, business. You should see it more like an agenda of your life-being and not life-doing. 

STEP #3  

VALIDATE YOUR PERCEPTION

Check for the validation of your perception.

Now you have your agenda blocks with only things that really matter ask yourself:

Is it what I want to be doing or is it what I believe I should be doing?

Would I still do it if I didn’t have to? Can it be that it’s not so much what I’m doing that is bothering me, but how I do it? Can it be that it’s not so much what I’m doing that is bothering me, but how much time I spend with it?

STEP #4

ADVISE WITH YOUR SOUL QUEEN

What is missing? 

What could you add to your daily routine or the way you did these things till now that would add more joy, more satisfaction, and give you the feeling of self appreciation? 

What could you let go to soften the inner pressure? 

What are the small things that you could implement into the process that are realistic and easy to do and! 

What are the activities you could add to your life that feed your soul? Give you the feeling of pleasure and joy, calm you down or stimulate your creativity? Open up you to yourSelf? Write them down. 

How can you help yourself easily to get back your soul in balance once you register first signs of worries, stress… ? Make a list of those small and easy job aids. Music, breathing exercise, looking at the sky for 5 min f.eg., remind yourself that there is always someone who can help you could be very effective. 

STEP #5

ADVISE WITH THE MANAGER IN YOU

Now you know what is missing, what could you add and let go, it’s time to re-prioritize and delegate. 

Take your life-being agenda with things that you like doing and want to keep doing and give those blocks a weight that is actual and correct. 

What things you don’t like doing, but they are important and must happen? See how you can arrange them differently? What can you delegate? If you are already doing it, how can you do it even more?  And that I mean aligned with the context of your life today. 

And remember, a good manager knows that only very few things are 100% important. And even less are 100% important and must be perfect all the time 😉 What is always it’s your well-being, your health. No health – no happiness, no dreams, nothing else matters that much. 

STEP #6

PLAN AND ACT

Now you have a clear picture of what you want and is possible, you can actually plan small, easy realistic steps to realize the adjustments. And remember you never experience anything as it’s unless you try it. Respect yourself while trying: give yourself enough time, don’t overplan, trust yourself, be generous with yourself, hold yourself accountable, own your story. 

STEP #7

ADVISE WITH THE FACILITATOR IN YOU

So you can upgrade your life-being agenda, 2 things need to happen. One – set up the new reasoning frame. And two – take a firm and irrevocable decision that lays the new ground for the new lifestyle.

You can’t solve a problem with the rules and reasoning that have created it. Now you know what you want, what you could add and let go, how you could do different so it’s easier and more joyful, it’s time to set up a new reasoning frame that will help you and support you in integrating a new lifestyle. 

Ask yourself, if I wanted to feel less pressure, so I feel more grounded, what new belief/idea/rule could I embrace? Is there a mantra to remind me of that?

If I wanted to experience less anxiousness but more joy while doing so, what new belief/idea/rule could I embrace? Is there a mantra to remind me of that?

If I wanted to be more flexible and light in mind and body, so I can be more mobile, effective and free in taking the decisions that suit my body/mind and soul, what new belief/idea/rule could I embrace? Is there a mantra to remind me of that?

Take a new firm and irrevocable decision whatever you do you do it with the attention for how you feel in the process. Once you feel going out of balance you consciously choose your new frame of reasoning and the jobaids you’ve created at the DATE WITH YOURSELF.
