Result oriented people today often suffer from perfectionism. Unfortunately, the pursuit of ideal results often happens at the expense of your health. All possible factors are taken into account except your own well-being.
WHO ARE YOU IN THE PROCESS?
One sees and uses himSelf in this process as “a means to” rather than “the source of”. It’s like when you gamble and put your money on the racehorse. It is expected to come first, and that at all costs. In this metaphor, the result oriented person would be the racehorse. And that you consciously choose BALANCE and MODERATE as good enough when you feel emotional and / or mental tension.
HOW TO MONITOR THE QUALITY OF YOUR BEING IN A PROCESS
What can help you to monitor your behavior during the process are the good questions like:
💡 Could it be that 80 is my new 100 for this case?
💡 Who am I now in this process? Who do I want to be? Is that really the BEST VERSION of me right now in the driving seat?
💡 What can I do now that is simple and easy to stay balanced, so I continue working feeling that in my mind and body?
If your honest answer is “no”
Ask the following question:
💡 How can I think or do differently to open myself up to my TRUE SELF?
💡 How can I think or act differently so that I come back into balance?
Only as the best version of yourself can you also deliver the best result. Both for yourself and for someone else.
